All funds raised will be used to support local programs.

The mission of Catholic Charities is to extend to all the healing and empowering presence of Jesus Christ and to provide hope and help to those in need. The nationally accredited programs of Catholic Charities of Decatur offer free and affordable assistance to those of all races, ages and faiths in the service area covering Macon, Moultrie and Shelby counties.

Examples of Catholic Charities services in the Decatur area include Meals on Wheels (with Decatur Memorial Hospital), the food pantry (strongly supported by WSOY and the people of the Decatur area), the Medical Assist program (in space donated by St. Mary's Hospital) and the resale store. Other programs support youth, families and the elderly, such as Senior Services and Counseling.
