The festival will be set up on the church’s two parking lots, the city streets around those parking lots, the parish’s Moriarty Hall and parish grounds. Included in the festival will be an auction and pork chop dinner to start the afternoon off, with daylong bingo games to follow. Also planned are children’s games, craft booths, food vendors, music by Christian rock groups, 50-50 drawings and a beer and wine garden.

Father John Titus, pastor, said the festival will help raise funds for ongoing maintenance and physical plant needs for the church and parish buildings. “We have a treasure here and we want to keep it in good shape for generations to come,” he said. “A strong healthy St. Charles Parish is an important part of the Charleston community.”
