Alumni and friends will join together to provide entertainment for the evening. The event will raise money for improvements to Dominican Hall. A new band room, set shop and new auditorium seating and flooring are all included in the renovation plan. Attendees will have an opportunity to contribute at the event by sponsoring a chair in the auditorium, buying a brick for the brick walkway, pledging, or making an outright contribution to the campaign.
Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased by calling the SHG advancement office at (217) 787-9732 or logging on to . Included in the ticket price will be an hors d'oeuvres reception, two complimentary drink tickets and a special gift. The ticket price will defray expenses associated with the event.
The event is in conjunction with the school's GENERATIONS campaign, which has raised more than $5.2 million for fine arts facilities at the main campus and athletic facilities at the school's west campus location. The goal is $8 million.
