Conference offered on spirituality in health care

Hospital Sisters Health System and the Chiara Center will host the second annual Spirituality in Health Care conference on March 16 at the Chiara Center on the grounds of the Franciscan Motherhouse near Springfield. The conference will be on “Mission, Metrics and Mercy.”

Keynote speakers for the conference will be Jean deBlois, CSJ, PhD; John R. Combes, MD; David B. Pryor, MD; and Wesley G. Robinson-McNeese, MD. They will explore the common ground among various disciplines involved in providing health care services in mission-based organizations during difficult economic times.

Health care professionals, physicians, nurses, pastoral care colleagues and students are encouraged to attend. Contact hours will be awarded for the educational activity.
