Winners in the boys competition were: Trey Aguirre, 13-year-old; Michael Holtz, 12-year-old; Nick Messinger, 11-year-old; and Charlie Erler, 10-year-old. There was no competitors in the 14-year-old boy category.

Winners in the girls competition were: Emily Holden, 12-year-old; Lilli McDaniel, 11-year-old; and Lauren Heinz, 10-year-old. There were no 13- or 14-year-old girl competitors.

Each contestant was allowed 15 free throws in their age group with the highest completion named champ.

Council-level champions will now head to the district level competition to be held at St. Ambrose School on Feb. 13. Registration will begin at noon, with shooting to start at approximately 12:30 p.m.
