Blessed Sacrament Church in Springfield will hold a Lenten Mission, April 4-6, led by Father Thomas Sullivan, CPM. The mission will begin at 7 each evening, with a reception after the Tuesday session, and Mass at the Wednesday session.

Father Sullivan is a former owner and operator of a roofing company who did extensive work with the Missionaries of Charity. The Haventown, Pa., native became a member of the Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy in 1998, and was ordained a priest in 2004. It was Mother Teresa who encouraged the roofer to listen to God’s call to become a priest. During the mission, Father Sullivan will encourage and challenge participants to make a stronger, deeper commitment to Christ, his church, and the sacraments.
