Honorees for 2010-2011 have received, or will receive, a certificate. The catechist certificates were signed by Bishop Thomas John Paprocki, Jonathan Sullivan, director of the Office for Catechesis and Chris Malmevik, associate director for catechesis. Educator certificates were signed by Bishop Paprocki, Jean Johnson, superintendent for Catholic schools and Sullivan. This year 94 certificates were issued.
“The catechetical mission of the church could not be fulfilled without the dedicated service of our parish catechists and school teachers,” said Sullivan. “We thank them for their years of service to the faithful and pray that they will continue to be faithful witnesses to the Gospel.”
