Western wear encouraged for Catholic Charities hoedown

Effingham Catholic Charities advisory board members Ed Grunloh, Kent Schmidt, Nicole Trupiano and Annette Schnable, along with area director Sister Carol Beckermann, OSF, get in the mood for the Feb. 4 Catholic Charities Hoedown. 	EFFINGHAM — Effingham Catholic Charities will hold a Catholic Charities Hoedown Feb. 4, at the Effingham KC Corral. The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a social, followed by a chuck wagon supper at 7 p.m. Jeans and western wear are the encouraged dress.

Tickets for the trail ride raffle will be for sale and the Catholic Charities Trail Boss will present the infamous Outlaw Award (Vineyard Award) for 2012.

For reservations, contact the Catholic Charities Office, US 40 East, between Effingham and Teutopolis. Tickets are also available through any Charities Advisory Board member. Tickets are $40 for an individual ticket, or if recognized in the program: Possee — eight tickets and reserved table, $1,500; Trail Bosses — six tickets, $1,000; Gunslingers — four tickets, $500.

Tickets for the Trail Ride Raffle will be available for purchase that night.
