The day of prayer, presentations, and creative arts will include dramatic skits, music, dance, and Tai Chi. It will offer attendees an opportunity to purchase works of art from the hands of women both near and far, (including fair trade items).

"This joyful day will celebrate the gifts of women. We will begin with prayer and Scripture focusing on the story of creation of man and women (Genesis 2:18-24) and continue with insightful presentations of women as physical, emotional, mental and spiritual beings," says Madonna Jones, one of the organizers.

"Through the creative arts we will celebrate our identity as sisters, mothers, daughters, girlfriends and children of God, made in the divine image," Jones said.
