The theme for the mission will be "Renew, Reconnect, Recommit."

"Redemptorist priests dedicate their entire lives to God and mission work, yet in a changing world, they constantly seek new ways to preach the good news of God's love," says parish council vice president Amy Quigg. "The mission being hosted at Our Saviour Church will embrace the need to share the Word of God with all.

"With Father Gregg Schmitt's guidance, the mission will be a positive experience of God, leading to personal and ongoing change in a community setting," she says. "Essential elements of our mission will be preaching, reconciliation, fellowship, prayer, Scripture, and healing of relationships. The mission is designed not to merely be a 'shot in the arm' to make you feel good for attending, but rather the renewed relationship with the Lord our God in a down-to-earth style of preaching."

Daycare will be available during the mission for those with young children. Additionally, rides to the mission can be arranged by calling (217) 243-2758. The public is invited to attend.
