‘Central Park after Dark’ fundraiser to benefit Catholic Charities

EFFINGHAM — Catholic Charities will present "Central Park After Dark," a reception and dinner fundraiser, on Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Effingham Knights of Columbus. The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour; with the dinner at 7.  Tickets are $40 each. Proceeds from the event will enable Effingham Catholic Charities to continue to help serve less fortunate people in the area.

Tickets are available at the Catholic Charities Office, on U.S. 40 East, between Effingham and Teutopolis, or from any Catholic Charities' Advisory Board member. Contributors who wish to be recognized in the program can donate at the following levels: Friends of: Empire State Building, $1,500 – eight tickets and a reserved table; Statue of Liberty, $1,000, six tickets; Times Square, $500, four tickets, or Rockefeller Center, $200 – two tickets.

Raffle tickets for a trip to New York will be available only at the Jan. 26 fundraiser, for $50 each. Effingham Catholic Charities will present its Vineyard Award for 2013 at "Central Park After Dark."
