JACKSONVILLE — The Church of Our Saviour in Jacksonville recently hosted the Vatican International Exhibition of the Eucharistic Miracles of the World. The event was held from Saturday, April 6 to Monday, April 8 in the Our Saviour Grade School gym.
Approximately 650 people attended, including parishioners, people from neighboring parishes, Our Saviour Grade School and Routt Catholic High School students, and other guests. The photographic exhibition is composed of 140 miracle panels, which recount well-documented miraculous occurrences, which are said to be visible proof of Jesus Christ's real presence in the holy Eucharist.
There was no charge for viewing the exhibit, but donations were accepted for the diocesan archives that stores the Vatican exhibit, and for the Real Presence Eucharistic Education and Adoration Association. The book Eucharistic Miracles of the World was also available for purchase and a copy for viewing can be found in the Holy Cross Chapel during adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
