The Springfield Diocesan Council of Catholic Women presented its second annual Our Lady of Good Counsel Women of Distinction Awards on Saturday, June 8, during a Mass celebrated by Bishop Thomas John Paprocki at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Springfield.
A luncheon followed at the Northfield Inn and Conference Center, where Msgr. John Ossola gave the invocation, and Alma Frohock, SDCCW president, gave the welcome. Msgr. Ossola is the spiritual advisor of Springfield DCCW.
