The event, sponsored by the women of the parish, is entitled “Our Lady of the Rosary, Pray for Us” and will feature special guest Rex Teodosio from the America Needs Fatima campaign. He will present a history and show a video of Fatima, explaining the miracle that occurred there.
Ann Stock of Our Sorrowful Mother’s Ministry in Vandalia, will speak on her experience in Fatima and will show relics of the three children to whom Our Lady appeared. Rhonda Phetsadasack, a teacher from Ss. Peter and Paul School, will also speak on her spiritual journey.
Stephanie Tidball and Judy Thompson, accompanied by Bob Bigham, will sing during the event. Reconciliation and eucharistic adoration will be available throughout the day, which will also include continental breakfast, luncheon, shopping at vendors’ booths and prize awards.
A collection of first- and second-class relics will be on display in a room adjacent to the main hall. Attendees are encouraged to bring their favorite rosary or another religious item to touch to the relics.
The cost to attend the event is $15 and those who wish to attend the luncheon must register by April 21. Registration forms are available by calling the Ss. Peter and Paul church office at (618) 345-4343 or by visiting www.saintspeter-paul.org. Questions can be directed to Judy Cruz, the chair of the event, at (618) 670-5192.
