“Mission Outreach is making a positive difference toward improving the healthcare services provided throughout the developing world,” said Georgia Winson, Hospital Sisters Mission Outreach executive director. “We accomplish this through our partnerships with 61 hospitals and 18 clinics in Illinois and Wisconsin as we collect their surplus medical supplies and equipment that we provide to recipients in the developing world. Our warehouse is the source of international aid and the World’s Fair is an opportunity to share our story and celebrate the cultures and the people we serve.”

The event will begin at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and a presentation. The featured entertainment will be provided by the African Ensemble of Central Illinois along with the Samba Llamas, a Latin fusion band in Springfield.
