COLLINSVILLE — Members of the graduating class of 1956 of Ss. Peter and Paul School held their 51st class reunion June 29 at Ravanelli’s Restaurant on June 29, the Solemnity of Ss. Peter and Paul. Father John Beveridge, pastor of Ss. Peter and Paul, gave the invocation.

Students in the class were taught by the Ursuline sisters for all eight grades. Their teachers were Mothers Xavier (grade 1), Bernard (2), Irene (3), Monica (4), Geraldine (5), Mary John (6), Regis (7), and Lucilla (8). The pastor at the time was Msgr. Bernard N. Manning, who died in 1957.
Sixty-two students originally were in the class. The class motto was "Character is the only true diploma."
