Recalling the spirit of the circuit rider, Father Schulte’s 80-mile trek will take him from parish to parish and through numerous towns where he will offer Mass in parish churches and perform various pastoral practices along the way. His walk will celebrate the efforts of pioneer-era priests who often covered great distances to perform their ministerial duties.

Father Schulte has invited donatations of 50-cents per mile, or an amount of an individual’s choice to raise funds for a new altar at St. Mary’ Church.
