EDWARDSVILLE - Patty Schneier will be visiting St. Mary Catholic Church on Sunday, Sept. 16, to present an inspirational talk, "Prove it, God! ... And He Did." She will speak from 7-8:30 p.m. at St. Mary's, located at 1802 Madison Ave. Refreshments will follow the presentation.

A cradle Catholic from St. Louis, Schneier has been presenting her personal conversion testimony to Catholic conferences across the Midwest. Using song, Scripture and writings from her journal, she shares the story of her challenge to God and his daily response.

Christopher West, a Fellow of the Theology of the Body Institute who has spoken at several diocesan conferences said this about Schneier: "The power of Patty Schneier's witness comes from the fact that she is an ordinary wife and mom with an extraordinary passion for the good news of Catholic teaching on life, love and sexuality. Patty says it like it is with contemporary flair, directness and compassion."

Other comments from conference attendees have been: "I cried throughout her whole testimony because she was so honest, humble and open to listening to God. What an inspiration." And, "Best witness talk I've ever heard. Her honesty, sincerity and enthusiasm were very entertaining and inspiring. Bravo!"

For more information on Schneier's talk, call the St. Mary Church office at (618) 656-4857.
