Two Sacred Heart-Griffin High School students will present their Silver Cross Recitals in voice on May 17.

Madeline Reavy, an SHG senior, will present at 2 p.m. in SHG's Dominican Hall Theatre, 1200 W. Washington St., in Springfield.

The daughter of Michele and James Reavy of Springfield, Madeline has been involved in SHG's musicals for four years, a member of SHG's performing group Encore and has performed in the Springfield Municipal Opera, Springfield Theatre Center and Theatre in the Park. She was chosen for the 2014 ILMEA District Chorus. She is a voice student of Karen Danner.

Her recital, will include Caccini's Ave Maria, Bishop's Love Has Eyes, Copeland's At the River and Astonishing from Little Women.

Victoria Londrigan, an SHG junior, will present her recital at 7 p.m. and include Sebben, Crudele and An die Musik, among other classical pieces.

The daughter of Pat and Ann Londrigan, Victoria is a member of Encore and active in plays and musicals at SHG. She has received consecutive superior ratings at the IHSA Solo and Ensemble contests, participated in ILMEA District IV and the All State Honors Chorus. She is a voice student of Bill Bauser Jr.

The recitals are free and open to the public.
