LITCHFIELD — Brianna Rogers is the 2015 recipient of the Dr. Adarsh A. Kumar Continuing Medical Education Scholarship that is administered by the HSHS St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary. Brianna, the daughter of Craig and Trisha Rogers of Litchfield, is pursuing a degree in speech pathology.

Kumar is a dermatologist who has been providing services to residents in the Litchfield community since 1985. The $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a student currently pursuing a degree or diploma in a health-related occupation.

Paula Endress, director of Philanthropy, said she is grateful to Kumar for his generosity. "It is through such financial assistance that the St. Francis Auxiliary was able to provide an additional scholarship this year to help further educate deserving students."
