St. Anthony of Padua invites all to four-day parish mission

The faith community of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Quincy will celebrate a four-day parish mission from Dec. 6-9. The principal message of the mission will take place each evening at 7 p.m. at the church at 2223 St. Anthony Road, with fellowship following.

Fr John Ettensohn CrossQUINCY — The faith community of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Quincy will celebrate a four-day parish mission from Dec. 6-9. The principal message of the mission will take place each evening at 7 p.m. at the church at 2223 St. Anthony Road, with fellowship following.

The theme of the mission will be "Where is God these days?" The preacher will be Father John Mark Ettensohn, a member of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate from Belleville. Father Ettensohn will also celebrate Masses at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 7 and Wednesday, Dec. 9. On Tuesday, Dec. 8 he will celebrate Mass at 9 a.m.

All interested individuals are welcome to the mission and babysitting will be provided. For more information, call the parish office at (217) 222-5996.
