GRANITE CITY - The class of 1957 of the former St. Joseph School will celebrate their 50th anniversary at a reunion with other eighth-grade classes on Nov. 10 at the Holy Family Community Center, 26th and Washington streets (former side entrance to Sacred Heart School).

Honored as special guest will be Dominican Sister Virginia Dever, who was then known as Sister John Thomas. Sister Virginia, who will turn 90 this year, was their teacher for 12 years and their principal for six years.

Also invited are former students from the classes of 1958 through 1962.
