Award-winning preacher, teacher, spiritual director and radio talk show guest Father Albert Hesse, OFM, will be the keynote speaker at WDCR 88.9/96.5 Decatur Catholic Radio’s sixth Annual Dinner, April 27.

Evening festivities begin with a welcoming reception at 5:30 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Conference Center, 1400 Mt. Zion Parkway, Mt. Zion.

Born in New Orleans and ordained a Franciscan priest in 1983, Father Albert (pronounced “Al-bear” to honor the French heritage of New Orleans) is a former missionary to mainland China for more than 11 years and the award-winning author of nine books on popular spirituality as well as the presenter on numerous best-selling DVDs. He says he spent a lot of time in the backyard as a child trying to dig a hole to China and “finally achieved his childhood dream.”
