EFFINGHAM - Effingham Catholic Charities has the two-CD set Voices of Charity II:  I Play My Best for Him available for sale this Christmas season.

The CD was recorded in 2006 by 27 ensembles from area Catholic and other congregations' choral and musical groups. The two-CD set costs $20 or buy five and get one free.

Money raised from this musical endeavor will be used for food, clothing, prescription medication, school supplies, home visits to the elderly, lodging, hot meals, financial assistance, foster care, counseling and adoption services for those who are in need in Clark, Crawford, Cumberland, Effingham, Fayette, Jasper and Shelby counties. One hundred percent of the CD proceeds this holiday season will support the ministries of Catholic Charities, which serves all people in need regardless of religion, race or class.

The CDs are available in Effingham at Brown's Drug Store, Burkland's Florist and Greenhouse, Catholic Charities Office, Jefferson Street Flowers, Lifeline Christian Books and Gifts, Martin's IGA, The Medicine Shoppe, Patton Printing, Roberts' Office Supply, Sacred Heart Church, St. Anthony Memorial Hospital Gift Shop, and The Cross. Additional CD sales sites include: Arndt's and St. Thomas Church in Newton; St. Mary Helping Hands, Marshall Chamber of Commerce and Marshall Catholic Charities Office in Marshall; and St. Francis Church in Teutopolis.
