Due to precautions regarding COVID-19 and the restriction of visitors to the Chiara Center in Springfield, the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis’ Franciscan Nativity events will be an on-line experience this year via ZOOM on Dec. 4, 5 and 6. The events will be free and open to the public, and guests may request a ZOOM link for each event by sending an email to  before 4 p.m. for the particular event that is of interest.

Events are as follows: Dec. 4 from 7-8 p.m. will feature the Nativities in St. Francis of Assisi Church (Springfield) and the story of Greccio, Italy and St. Francis; Dec. 5 from 7-8 p.m. will feature a few families who will discuss their Nativity on display in their home; and Dec. 6 from 7-8 p.m. will be photos and stories from previous Franciscan Nativity Festivals.
