ALTON - Marquette Catholic High School's 2009 Cash Calendars are now for sale.

"Cash Calendars make great Christmas gifts," says Marquette parent Patty Morrissey.

Morrissey, a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Parish in Alton, said that last year's Cash Calendar raised more than $17,000 for extracurricular activities for Marquette students.

The Cash Calendar contains photos of students, important events and each purchaser's name is put into drawings for cash 365 days a year. Top prize is $500 at Christmas, $250 at Easter, $100 on the major holidays, $81 on Sundays and weekday prizes of $25.
