Pax Christi, Springfield, will celebrate the sixth annual Ecumenical Epiphany Service for Peace from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, at St. Joseph Church, 1345 N. Sixth St. in Springfield.

Vicki Compton, director of the diocesan Office for the Missions, will share a reflection on the holy day. Compton is also the coordinator of the Welcome Project of Central Illinois, which is funding efforts to bring an Iraqi family to the United States. Freewill offerings will be given to the WPCI.

Pax Christi Springfield is an affiliate of Pax Christi USA, the Catholic peace organization.
