QUINCY - During the Year of St. Paul, Quincy University will hold "A Weekend with Paul and Bill," a study weekend on St. Paul conducted by biblicist Father Bill Burton, OFM, Jan. 30-Feb. 1 at QU's North Campus.

Father Bill earned an SSL from the Pontifical Biblical Institute, an STD from the Pontifical Gregorian University, a master's degree in theology from the Catholic Theological Union, and a master's degree in higher education administration from Loyola University.

On June 28, 2008, Pope Benedict XVI opened the Year of St. Paul in honor of the 2,000th anniversary of the birth of the "Apostle to the Gentiles." The pope encouraged local Christian church communities around the world to read and reflect on St. Paul's contribution to the life of the church.

Anyone wishing to learn more about St. Paul is welcome to attend the study weekend. Cost of the weekend, including meals, is $100 for commuters and $150 for overnight guests. A limited number of partial scholarships are available.
