Brunette-Larry.jpgThe Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (DCCW) will hold its annual Lenten retreat on Wednesday, April 1, and Thursday, April 2, at the Villa Maria-Catholic Life Conference and Center on Lake Springfield. All women of the diocese are invited.
"Getting Along in the Church" is the general topic which will be presented by Father Larry Brunette, pastor at Holy Family Parish, Granite City. The subjects on Monday will be relationships and vocations and on Tuesday, sharing the faith and weekends of various kinds.
The schedule will include conferences, quiet time for prayer and reflection, eucharistic celebrations, the sacrament of reconciliation and time for fellowship with other Catholic women from the diocese.
Retreat registration and morning refreshments will be from 9-9:45 a.m. April 1, followed by conferences beginning at 10 a.m. The retreat will conclude with lunch on April 2.
Registration fee is $75 for overnight and $65 for commuters.
Registration forms may be obtained from parish and deanery presidents, clipped out of the Catholic Times or accessed online at www.dio.org/lay .
