Artists of all mediums from the local River Bend area, the Midwest and from all around the world are being asked to donate a piece of art to display and auction for the event.  Artists will receive recognition for their art, with contact information being published in the auction programs.  Sponsorship options are available for this benefit as well.

In celebration of  the Catholic Children's Home 130th anniversary, this year's "An Affair of the Art" event will feature a raffle of an original 36-inch-by-36-inch framed acrylic on canvas painting by local artist, Jeffrey Vaughn titled Yellow Leaves Over Rocky Creek. Raffle tickets are $10 or three for $25 at any time on or before the announcement of the winner at 9 p.m. the night of the benefit art auction event.

The Catholic Children's Home, now in its 130th year of service, continues its mission to aid, protect and care for the needs, education and welfare of dependent, neglected, abused or otherwise hurting children and families, without regard to poverty, riches, race, religion, and national origin.

Anyone wishing to donate art, inquire about sponsorship or purchase tickets should contact Michael Shelton-Montez at (618) 465-3594.
