She was born to Lawrence and Angelina Geraci Moscarelli in Rockford. For 50 years Sister M. Immaculate taught music and/or was the organist at these parishes: Sacred Heart in Pana (16 years); Holy Rosary in Duluth, Minn. (four years); and St. John Bosco in Chicago (30 years). For the last seven years of active ministry, she was a volunteer at Ss. Peter and Paul School and Parish in Cary. After she retired to Sacred Heart Convent, she enjoyed playing the harp.

Sister M. Immaculate was preceded in death by her father and mother and her two sisters, Lena Moscarelli and Marie Rossi. She is survived by her nephews, Bob Rossi of Punta Gorda, Fla., and John Rossi of Walnut Creek, Calif.

The funeral Mass was held Jan. 16 at Sacred Heart Convent in Springfield, with Father Peter Witchousky presiding. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Springfield.
