Josephine M. Magerl of Springfield, formerly of Milwaukee, mother of Deacon Roch Magerl, died April 6 at St. John’s Hospice in Springfield, age 82.

The funeral Mass was held April 13 at St. Aloysius Church in Springfield. Burial was in Camp Butler National Cemetery.

Deacon Magerl is assigned to St. James Parish, Riverton.
