Sister Patricia was born in St. Louis. She entered the congregation of the School Sisters of Notre Dame in 1950 from St. Rose of Lima Parish in St. Louis. She professed first vows in 1952 and final vows in 1958. She earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from the former Notre Dame College in St. Louis in 1961 and a master's degree in elementary education from St. Louis University in 1971.

Sister Patricia ministered in education for 47 years. She began her teaching career at All Souls in St. Louis, where she taught from 1952-53. She also taught at St. Mary in Alton, 1953-54; St. Joseph in Farmington, Mo., 1954-57; St. Dominic in Breese, 1957-58; St. Gerard Majella, San Antonio, Texas, 1958-61; St. Anthony in Effingham, 1961-66; and Our Lady of Perpetual Help in St. Louis, 1966-71.

She was principal at St. Anthony in Effingham, 1971-73; Our Lady of Loretto in St. Louis, 1986-91; St. Genevieve Parish in Ste. Genevieve, Mo., 1993-95; and Holy Family in Hannibal, Mo., 1995-99.

Sister Patricia was associate superintendent in the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois) 1977-79, and the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, 1979-84. Since 2000, she served in various volunteer positions.

She has no immediate survivors.
