Sister Ann Catherine Radosevic, a Dominican Sister of Springfield, died March 18. She was 97 years old.

She was born to Anton and Mary Vlahovich Radosevic in Lincoln and joined the Springfield Dominican Sisters in 1936.

Before retiring, Sister Ann Catherine ministered in pastoral care at St. Joseph's Home in Springfield and at Villa Vianney in Sherman. Previously she had been the receptionist at Queen of Peace Retreat Center in Fargo, ND. During her first 51 years as a Dominican Sister, she taught in Catholic elementary schools: at Cathedral and St. Agnes in Springfield and at St. Mary in Paris; and outside of the Springfield diocese in East Moline, Crystal Lake, Chicago, Cary, Peoria and in Elgin in Illinois, and also in California.

Sister Ann Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Matthew, Tony and Joseph; and her sister, Kathryn Riassetto.

She is survived by her sister, Theresa Gangitano of Salem, Ore., and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass for Sister Ann Catherine was held March 23 and final commendation on March 24 at Sacred Heart Convent, with Father Peter Witchousky, OP, presiding. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
